We are excited to partner with another local Minnesota business, YouBetcha Box to help those on the Covid-19 frontlines!  YouBetcha Box curates a variety of gift boxes that feature MN local businesses!  From snacks, to hot sauces, pantry items, and treats, they ship these tasty boxes all over the US to share love from MN!  They recently created a Feed the Frontlines Box to help fuel our local heros on the frontline of the coronavirus with healthier local grab-n-go snacks!  Developed with input from nutritionists and hospital staff, this effort also supports small Minnesota businesses! We are grateful to be a part of this box and to help fuel health care workers!

We love celebrating National Oatmeal Cookie Day every year because oats are at the heart  ❤️ of every Kakookie.  This year, we are all experiencing different circumstances, but one thing that hasn’t changed: the all around goodness brought to you from whole grain oats and the comfort of eating a cookie!

It's times like this, during Covid 19 crisis that many of us reflect on a simple question:  How did this happen or how did we get here? As a small local business, we are frequently asked, how did we get to where we are today? 

Every founder has a story.  It usually stems from a particular passion or finding a solution to a problem.  I originally created Kakookies for my daughter when she was a collegiate cyclist because I didn't feel good about her and her teammates stopping at Dunkin' Donuts before or after their races. 

What fuels superheroes? Drive, passion, strength, courage, love, selflessness? Yes, and that’s just the start for frontline healthcare provider powerhouses.  But even superheroes need a snack break that nourishes them body and soul!  So Kakookies and several local food companies grabbed our masks and capes and partnered to create the MN HERO SNACK PACKS!

When things are uncertain, what is important becomes clear. The nourishment and care that food provides, is foundational in importance. Kakookies was founded on the mission of providing better-for-you food while matching that with the comfort of a cookie.

We were grateful to learn that Kakookies are uniquely positioned to partner with local food organizations, such as Loaves and Fishes, whose mission is to provide and deliver healthy meals to Minnesotans in areas where needs are greatest.
