Chainbreaker Charity Ride to #EndCancer

The Chainbreaker Ride is a grassroots bike tour that raises money for life-saving cancer research.  100% of all proceeds goes DIRECTLY to cancer research at the Masonic Cancer Center, University of Minnesota.

After years of sponsoring cyclists, and supporting health and well-being events by sharing Kakookies, we are pleased to step away from the side lines and join the action. The Kakookies Krew peloton is riding for our family and friends that are cancer victims and celebrates those that are survivors.

Participating and supporting the Chainbreaker Ride is important because 100% of your donation will go directly toward life-saving cancer research at the Masonic Cancer Center, University of Minnesota. Additionally, the Masonic Cancer Center is special to us because our CEO/Founder Sue Kakuk's grandmother Mildred Dietz was a founding board member of the Masonic Cancer Charities back in 1950.

If you have been touched by cancer personally, have a family member or a friend that is a survivor or victim, we invite you to help end cancer by joining us in Chainbreaker 18.  Here’s how:

Donate:

*For every $25 donated, we will send you a FREE Sampler Pack and for every $75 donated, we will send you a FREE box of 1 Dozen cookies of the flavor of your choice!  *When you donate, please make a note indicating you would like the Sampler Pack and if you qualify for the 1 dozen, please let us know which flavor you would like.*

Remember, 100% of every
Rider-raised dollar is proudly directed to cancer research at the Masonic Cancer Center, University of Minnesota and 100% of your donation is tax deductible.

Ride with Kakookies Krew; We’re in this Together!
Join us August 10-12, 2018 in Minnesota for a three-day weekend of cycling, entertainment, and volunteerism. Chainbreaker puts together a full service experience by providing nutrition, hydration, first aid, bike maintenance, transportation, lodging, and entertainment to ensure a safe, successful, and fun weekend for all of its Riders.  To join the Kakookies Krew Peloton, you’ll need to register as a rider and commit to fundraising a minimum amount specific to the route selected (25, 50, and 100 miles). As part of the registration process, you can join the Kakookies Krew peloton!  While not necessary, we also invite you to ride with our new sporty Kakookies jerseys!

Virtual Ride:
Not able to ride with us but want to help us fundraise and cheer us on?  Simply sign up as a Virtual Rider!

Volunteer:
Join Kakookies in welcoming riders on day 2 at Rest Stop #4 in Cologne, MN on Sunday August 12.  Kakookies will be the official host and we will need 4-8 people to help assist riders with water and snacks. Let us know if you want to volunteer by emailing info@kakookies.com and we will send you the necessary information.

We are excited about this event and we hope you will join the movement to #EndCancer.  Thank you for supporting our efforts for this great cause!
